When we moved into our 150 year old cottage, its charm and character was hidden.
An overgrown hedge and uninspiring colour scheme, failed to celebrate its presence and history.
With a bit of work, the cottage has been unveiled in a pale vintage pink which celebrates its humble heritage. When explaining to people where we live, with recognition they say
"Oh you're in the pink cottage!"
I am dying, not imminently (well at least I don't think so) but no I am 60, I know that I am well and truly on this trajectory. I have been around long enough to know that I won't get out of this life alive.
